Taken from The Brotherhood of Olympus Forums:
Out of Character (OOC) Rules:
1. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated. No racism, sexism, discrimination, or other types of bullying will be tolerated.
2. Do not attach or post material that is copyrighted and not owned by you.
3. Please refrain from using vulgar language.
4. Please search the board for the topic you want to discuss before you just create your own. For example, we don't want to end up with 10 different threads talking about how Drake and Rachel are meant to be together.
5. Please no spamming.
In Character Rules
1. Keep the boards PG-13. No sex, no excessive swearing, and if you have a character who is discriminatory keep there discriminating comments to a minimum.
2. No god-modding. You can't create your character so it is a perfect character. There has to be some flaws or your character won't get approved. When playing your character can't be invincible to every attack.
3. No controlling other people's characters. Unless you've been granted permission to do so in the Leave of Absence boards.
4. No killing other characters without the permission of their player.
5. Try to write as long and as descriptive of a response as you can. Refrain from one liners. Dialogue should be written in quotations, as if it were a real novel.
6. Be aware of where your character is at all times. You cannot have them jumping around from location to location. If you see another board start heating up with something interesting have your character leave their current location to join the new action.
7. You may start out with one character per game and once you have proven to be an admirable role player you can increase to having three characters per game. Some exceptions might be made if you choose to role play your non-canon character's family as well. This can be allowed.
8. Have fun.
